School Council

The Cliffdale School Council is made up of pupil reps from all the classes across upper school. The pupils are very good at collecting feedback and information from all of the pupils across the school, even the youngest. The upper school pupils then represent these views at the council meetings.

The meetings are held regularly throughout the year about once every half term. The council come up with great ideas including playground activities and suggestions for lunch time clubs as well as helping to plan for special days, such as Children in Need day. This helps the pupils to learn about responsibility and develop their leadership skills.

Every year 2 members of the school council represent our school on the Council of Portsmouth Students (COPS). This enables them to share thoughts and ideas with all Portsmouth Schools.
