Christmas Fayre

Christmas Fayre

What a brilliant Christmas Fayre we had today!

What a brilliant Christmas Fayre we had today!  Over 300 people came through the doors on a Saturday afternoon and had a great time!

There was lots of stalls for children to have a go on…the Grinch’s Snowballs, Pot Luck, Penguin Skittles, Deal or No Deal and Santa’s Chimneys!  There was also the ever popular Christmas face painting, but of course the reason that all good boys and girls come to the Christmas Fayre, is to see Father Christmas!  Over 100 children went through the winter walkway to see Father Christmas in his fabulous Grotto and tell him what they would like him to bring for them on Christmas Eve.

The tombola’s were popular with the grown-ups as well as the ‘Big Raffle’ with some fantastic prizes to be won. The Choir sang some Christmas songs to make everyone feel festive and there was plenty to eat and drink in the Christmas Café.

Once again, the Cliffdale Christmas fayre was a huge success and well attended by lots of families past and present, friends and neighbours.  A big thank you to everyone who came to the fayre and helped to raise a profit of just over £1800!
