Quintessential Music Comes to Cliffdale

Quintessential Music Comes to Cliffdale

An exciting buzz could be felt in Cliffdale Primary Academy hall on the morning of Wednesday 8th November as Monkey, Koala, Panda and Hippo classes experienced a live musical performance of folk and world music.

The professional musicians, called ‘Quintessential’, played a fusion of music from Bulgaria, Brazil, America, Ireland, Scotland and finally England which involved a clog dance.

The pupils listened, watched and joined in with the singing and actions …and, of course, in true Cliffdale style – danced to the music lots and lots and lots! They also had opportunities to play some of the instruments including the violin, mandolin, penny whistle and banjo.

Smiles could be seen on every pupil’s face; everyone had such a great time! Thank you Quintessential – we hope you visit us again!
